About Us

The Benson sisters, Kim and Kristin, were born and raised in Fort Wayne, Indiana and have remained close throughout the years. They have always talked about starting a business in which they can help bring enjoyment to others and make a positive impact.   In the fall of 2022, the Benson sisters purchased a vintage horse trailer and converted it into a charming mobile bar that would add a unique and unforgettable experience to any event. After many deliberations and a neighborhood contest, Wandering Spirits was selected as the name of the trailer. 

With the mobile bar, the Benson sisters aim to provide a one-of-a-kind experience for event attendees. Their beautifully designed trailer is equipped with the alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages of your choice.   The Benson sisters ensure that their bar adds a touch of elegance and excitement to your event. The Benson sisters take pride in their attention to detail and their commitment to providing exceptional service. They work closely with their clients to create customized drink menus and ensure that every aspect of the bar setup aligns with the event's theme and atmosphere. Their Friendly and professional staff are well trained in mixology and dedicated to delivering a memorable experience for every guest. 

Kim has always loved throwing parties and creating memorable experiences for her friends and family. After years of throwing parties, she decided to turn her passion into a business.  Kim also has a background in business ownership. She previously owned an insurance sales agency for 17 years. This experience has given her the skills and knowledge to run a successful business.

Kim is passionate about providing her clients with an unforgettable experience. She believes that a great party is all about the details, and she goes the extra mile to ensure that her events are perfect and will add a touch of class to your next event! Kim and her team will work with you to create a memorable experience that your guests will never forget.

After a successful decade in the consulting industry, Kristin followed her heart's desire to create something truly exceptional. Drawing from her extensive experience in strategic planning and project management, she co-founded Wandering Spirits, a mobile bar service that combines her eye for detail with a knack for understanding people's needs. This journey from spreadsheets to cocktails is a testament to Kristin's ability to blend her professional expertise with her love for creating moments that matter.
